I just returned home from my first time at South Side and it was a perfect experience. I made the gentleman aware I'd never been and he promptly emerged from behind the counter to give me a full tour. We talked about what they offer, how they offer it and all the options that I have with my shopping experience. There was a man in there from West Hartford who was very friendly and told me about his 30 year history as a customer with them. Watching his interaction through his process was just as friendly as mine was so it was great to see no matter if it's day 1 or year 30, the customer service is A1!

Great meats...great guys!Order your corn beef today for St Pat's Day....I just did....as I do every year!! And their catering....think about it for Christmas....we do...no more stress and its oh so good!

Their home made barbecue sauce is kicking. Just pickup some fresh chicken for the boys at work for lunch. It is out of this world!

I absolutely love South side Meat Market in Bristol Connecticut .I been going there for over 10 years .The gentleman that worked there a friendly kind and know their stuff. They have some of the best catering services in the area and very reasonable prices. Their flank steaks are unbelievable. It makes several types of homemade sausage from mild to extremely hot highly recommend them for anything that you need.

Great butcher shop! They will custom cut and they also have prepared foods as well. The meat balls are the bomb! Their soups and salads are so yummy. This place is worth the trip from anywhere.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price for the freshness

The first time I walked into this store I really needed cold cuts and figured this place might have some. I went in and omg, everything looks and smells fabulous! The meat cuts look super fresh, the meat products are simply beautiful. They make their own sausages, the Italian sausages are out of this world. One lady in line commented how she cannot live without their chicken sausage. The most praised item seems to be their already marinated and ready to go flank steak. Worth mentioning are their hefty sandwiches and rich soups. You can also place orders in advance, they also cook for parties! Absolutely amazing place: great meats, the owners are passionate about their store and products and they give every customer undivided attention, the employees move lines super fast. Shop local, totally worth it!
